North Carolinian Robert Lawrence Horne, best known as Mo from New Generation WWF acclaim, died on 19 October at 59 years old, having contracted pneumonia and a blood infection while undergoing treatment in a Texan hospital.

Horne, born on 13 April, 1967, trained under Ivan Koloff, and Gene and Ole Anderson ahead of his 1991 debut, and was subsequently paired with the colossal Nelson Frazier for much of his early career. Together, they became The Harlem Knights in George South's Pro Wrestling Federation and Jerry Jarrett's USWA before they were scouted by the WWF in 1993. It was under the penmanship of Vince McMahon that Mo achieved his defining career feat, toppling The Quebecers to begin an accidental two-day stint as WWF Tag Team Champions.

After transferring into a largely managerial position as Sir Mo alongside King Mabel, Horne and Frazier were both booted from the WWF in 1996, and while Frazier ultimately returned, Horne did not. The succeeding two decades of his career were spent in major obscurity, though he did partake in the original USWA incarnation of The Nation of Domination, donning a black supremacist character as Sir Mohammad.

Horne retired from active competition in 2020, two years after undergoing a kidney transplant, and his health continued to deteriorate gradually before his October 2025 passing.
