4 Minor Changes That Would Improve The WWE Network

2. 'Recommended' Feature

One of the greatest features within Netflix is its 'Recommendations' system, which offers users suggestions of content that they may like based on their previous viewing patterns. For instance, somebody who watches a number of Matt Damon films may be directed to lesser-known entries in his filmography, or further spy dramas in the vein of the Bourne series. This is similar to a number of other systems that exist across the internet, such as Twitter's suggestions of who should follow based on which individuals or companies you subscribe to the updates of already. The Network could make great use of something like this to introduce viewers to a plethora of content. Somebody who expresses an interest in the Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H match from Summerslam 2002, for instance, could be directed to all of the subsequent bouts in their lengthy feud as well as supplementary content such as the WWE Rivalries episode that covered it or the career documentaries of the pair. It could then expand further by pointing users in the direction of other memorable moments from their careers, such as HBK's Wrestlemania matches with the Undertaker and so on and so forth. Though potentially tricky to implement, particularly in comparison to some of the other items on this list, this is something that would truly better the Network, interlinking the thousands upon thousands of hours of content contained within it and making it much more accessible to individuals with specific preferences.
