4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 4)

2. Goldberg Threatens Murder Again

Just in case you thought it was an accident or a misstep, WWE doubled down on Goldberg threatening to literally murder Bobby Lashley in Saudi Arabia (you know, the country that murders journalists and gets away with it).

Lashley demanded that their Crown Jewel match be No Holds Barred, which Goldberg said would give him a license to kill (seriously). This then gave us the most unintentionally hilarious line in recent memory, with Goldberg saying he’d apologize to Lashley’s kids “after I leave your lifeless body in the middle of the ring, gasping for air.”

Just… no.

But this was just horrible stuff again from WWE trying to up its edginess by having a Hall-of-Famer (who said he returned because he wanted to be a superhero to kids) threatening to literally kill his opponent, and having Seth Rollins swear more. Hats off guys.
