4 Ups & 11 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 22)

6. Cheer The DQ!

Can someone explain why we should cheer the ingenuity of the Street Profits?

This writer loves Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, but the simple fact that they can’t overcome Omos doesn’t make it OK for them to suddenly resort to outright cheating – and not like “use the ropes for leverage” or switch off without tagging. No, instead, the Profits broke out a fire extinguisher during the match and emptied it at Omos and AJ Styles, drawing a DQ.

Fans cheer babyfaces who overcome the odds and outsmart their opponents, especially bigger ones. If Omos was cheating, then yeah, the extinguisher might have made sense as retribution. But the simple fact that Omos is bigger and badder doesn’t mean your babyface can then just use a low blow or fire extinguisher to level the playing field and expect to get cheered.

This was just dumb, lazy booking that does a huge disservice to the excellent Street Profits.
