4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 12)

1. Serious Hangman Is Serious

Hangman Page The Young Bucks

It's no accident that Hangman Page has been more engaging as a character since he ditched the silly drinking gimmick and stopped mucking around with The Dark Order. That persona had a ceiling - this grounded, more serious Hangman looks, walks and talks like a future AEW World Champion.

This week, Page interrupted some Superkliq promo time and had a face-to-face with Adam Cole. Now there's a match AEW can't wait to book, surely. Together, they planted the smallest of seeds for that future scorcher, and who's to say it won't be an AEW Title match if Hangman bags the belt from Kenny Omega this weekend?

When Cole left, Page threatened to end The Young Bucks if they got involved at Full Gear. His words were short-but-sweet, and they came across as totally genuine. Oh yes, ass-kicking Hangman is the best kind of Hangman. This was a nice little insert.

See what happens when pro wrestlers talk to one another like human beings?
