WWE must be rubbing their hands with glee at all the reports talking about whether or not Jade Cargill suffered a legitimate injury and that's why the promotion penned her out of TV with a mystery attack angle. Staff will know they can ride this out all the way towards WrestleMania 41 season and either reveal that Bianca Belair ambushed her partner or somebody else was responsible.

Naomi is the best bet currently, but that could change. After all, she ignored an attack on her husband Jimmy Uso last week in favour of putting herself forward as a sub for Jade in the Women's Tag-Team Title picture. Then, perhaps to throw everyone off the scent, Naomi turned down the chance to hold one of the belts at Gorilla before "earning" that right vs. Nia Jax and Candice Le Rae.

Ooh, the intrigue.

If this was part of some master plan, then it's working. Naomi was sinking as Bayley's bestie, but she makes a fabulous tag partner substitute next to Belair. These women have chemistry together, and it's certainly for the best that WWE came up with a contingency plan for Bianca rather than vacating these much-maligned titles yet again.

Being honest about it, the match with Nia and Candice was routine, but it pushed the story along nicely and that's all anyone could've reasonably expected given the circumstances. Now, Naomi can talk about pulling her weight before the big reveal happens on exactly who roughed up Jade. Naomi, Bianca or somebody else. Take your pick.
