Cast your minds back to Clash At The Castle 2022 in Wales. There, Solo Sikoa debuted as the new member of a Roman Reigns-led Bloodline and cost Drew McIntyre the chance to become champ. If you think the Scot has forgotten about that whilst running rampant through all who have wronged him in the past, then think again. McIntyre reminded Solo that he's coming on this week's SmackDown.

Drew's promo revealed that he's happy to play the waiting game. He proposed that both men wait to settle personal business between them until he's taken out the rest of the OG Bloodline and Sikoa cuts off the head of the snake in Roman. Jimmy Uso attacked McIntyre with a crutch after that, which sent the heel scurrying away to safety and left Solo's crew ready for their six-man tag vs. LA Knight, Andrade and Apollo Crews.

The segment was formatted well, and it left more questions than answers lingering. It's a lovely bit of context to know WWE wouldn't balk at a heel vs heel showdown between Drew and Solo in the future. McIntyre should hate everyone in The Bloodline regardless of character alignment, basically. He's been gunning for everyone from Sami Zayn and The Usos to even distant Roman associates like Seth Rollins, so why not?

Solo refusing to back down, but also seeing reason by holding off Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga, was also the right call. WWE can let this one brew for a while longer, 'cause there's definitely something to Drew vs. Sikoa.
