4 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 3)

1. Sami Zayn’s Bravery

Brave Sami Zayn is brave.

The breakout babyface worked a hot closing segment with Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline (sans Jey Uso, obviously). Roman's entitled promo set things up nicely, then Zayn kicked the door down by being utterly defiant and bravely taking the fight to the heels despite being outnumbered.

Reigns, after months of manipulation, is backpedaling like crazy. He has one eye on Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, but plans to beat the snot out of Sami in front of his friends and family in Montreal at Elimination Chamber. That plan has been threatened by Zayn's defiant attitude and never-say-die behaviour.

The fact he's the one taking the fight to Roman is very encouraging. This was exactly what needed to happen after the Rumble, and it was just the latest blistering chapter in the greatest story modern pro wrestling has told. More, please!
