4 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sept 2)

1. An All-Action Opener

Hangman Page Danhausen Orange Cassidy

Anyone who reads these articles regularly will know this writer isn't fond of AEW's six man fetish. However, Rampage's opener was an action-packed match with some tidy near falls in it, and it did win back some trust in the coming Trios Titles. Maybe others feel differently, who knows?

Hangman Page being there definitely helped up the interest levels, but Orange Cassidy and John Silver (in particular) brought it in-ring. Even Danhausen got his little moment by putting a curse on Hangman before the bell. That could be something to keep an eye on come All Out.

Just saying.

No-one can argue with Hangman and The Dark Order getting the win either, because there's way more sauce to Page's issues with Kenny Omega/The Elite than anything Best Friends had going on. Yeah, whilst the jury's still out on Tony's six-man love affair, this was definitely good.
