4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 6)

2. Carmella Strikes!

Carmella is back, and she's a fine interim opponent for Sasha Banks post-Survivor Series. Her delusional 'Untouchable' gimmick also means she can afford to take a loss and still come back like she's hot sh*t who deserves title shot after title shot.

If WWE play their cards right, then she could be a natural successor to Banks and Bayley. Why not? 'Mella was top class as a heel several years ago, and the fact she's been a lower-card babyface since then makes this bad girl revival feel fresh as a daisy.

Banks shouldn't get any revenge until they meet on pay-per-view.

Asuka is Sasha's next hurdle on 22 November, so it's likely Banks vs. Carmella will happen at TLC on 20 December. WWE's job before then is giving 'Mella a few convincing wins over the likes of Natalya and Ruby Riott. She deserves this chance.
