That could be a wrap for Johnny Gargano in WWE. Assuming his post-show comments on the mic are totally genuine (you never know in wrestling), it looks like 'Johnny Wrestling's' NXT run has come to an end after years of stellar work. He and his current employer will probs address that on Tuesday.

If he's on the way out-ski, then Gargano deserved one last hurrah with old partner-turned-rival-turned-partner Tommaso Ciampa. Together, they reunited to hit the old DIY finish on Bron Breakker during the main. There was something deliberate about that, not least because Breakker is clearly the emerging face of NXT 2.0.

Gargano would/will be a huge loss to NXT, and yet...what more does he have left to accomplish? The man has burned through almost everything on this brand since 2015-2016, and it might be the right time to move on from WWE as a whole. Besides, it's not like he'd ever get house room on Raw or SmackDown anyway.

At least he, Ciampa and DIY's fans got this moment.
