6. Flirting With The Camera

What the hell was the deal with Angel Garza on Monday night?

Garza, now separated from Zelina Vega and Andrade, delivered a backstage promo where he talked directly to the camera about how he might be far away from some unseen member of the audience, they were meant to be together. He continued to flirt in a manner where it almost seemed like the camera was supposed to be the viewpoint of a person.

It was just an odd scene, and while it was something different, it felt more like the early 2000s SNL skit, “The Ladies Man,” than something on WWE programming. They could have accomplished the same thing by having Garza do a backstage interview and talk to the camera as part of the conversation, and it would have felt less awkward.
