4 Ups And 2 Downs From WWE NXT (Nov 4)

1. McAfee Fi Fo Dunne

First of all, god bless Danny Burch at 38 years of age finally getting the shot in the spotlight he so richly deserves, and just being so overly excited about it. Walking in front of McAfee's shots, adding a dorky addendum to every sentence ("this guy!"), and nodding his head so enthusiastically he's going to have trap muscles like the Churchill dog. I love him.

Anyway, without doing the same myself there's not a lot to really break down about this segment that's not immediately obvious because of who's participating. Pat breaks down the group's motivations and their issue with Undisputed Era, from his run-in with Cole, Lorcan and Burch never getting a fair shot on the brand, and, very smartly, Strong betraying Dunne way back at TakeOver: New Orleans in 2018.

Pat's still untouchable on the stick in NXT, and it was smart not to have this segment interrupted (sort of) to dull their new-found shine in retreat. We're undoubtedly building to WarGames here, but this feud has been so well built it could just as easily be building towards Survivor Series instead.
