3. Carmellsworth's Reign Of Terror Begins

Early in the show, James Ellsworth - in an absolutely horrendous backstage segment - stumbled over his lines (intentionally) while asking Carmella if he could accompany her to the ring. She agreed, and that led to a Smackdown bout pitting "The Princess of Staten Island" against NXT also-ran Aliyah.

The match was nothing special, and was more notable for the commentary, which saw JBL repeatedly ridicule the Ellsworth-Carmella pairing and Otunga christen them "Carmellsworth." Carmella picked up the submission win after Ellsworth tripped up Aliyah on the ropes.

I'm not sure what the end game of all of this is, but Ellsworth is definitely not where he was a couple of months ago in terms of popularity.
