4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Jan 3)

1. That Was A Little Stiff

Prior to the main event, we were promised that Nikki Bella would address Natalya, and even though the segment was kept short, it certainly delivered. What it delivered, I have no idea.

Both women were in the ring coming back from commercial, and Nikki started dressing Natalya down, telling her that she was living off her family's legacy while she and Brie had made their name themselves. Natalya retorted by referencing a recent tweet that Bret Hart sent out complimenting Nikki, then said that she herself was better than Bret ever was.

Natalya then got personal, saying that Nikki was beautiful, but looks fade, and when hers do, John Cena will leave her. Then, she'll die alone. Needless to say, that hit Nikki where it hurt, and so she laid Natalya out with a slap. I suppose this advanced their program, but I can't say it made me more excited to see the eventual match.
