4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Mar 12)
1. Too Many People Sound The Same ("My WrestleMania Moment")
A big problem with WWE's creative team is that they don't do a good enough job of making wrestlers sound different. Instead of giving their performers unique voices they all end up sounding the same by reciting the same dialogue over and over. This week the phrase that was used far too often saw a number of different performers use the phrase "My WrestleMania Moment" repeatedly. Do you really think Luke Harper should be out there doing promos where he sounds like everybody else talking about his WrestleMania moment? The character barely changes his clothes, yet he's out there talking the same way that everybody else does. That was all he said before the next person walked out to continue the promo fest. Hey WWE creative team, please think outside the box. Be different. Every wrestler shouldn't sound the same or use the same phrases all the time. For things like "WWE Universe" it's fine because WWE wants to push it, but far too often we hear the same kind of lines and it hurts the show more than it helps.
