4 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Feb 19)

A nine match show with an ending that set up six man tag at Fastlane.

This week's Smackdown was the last major WWE television show before this Sunday's Fastlane pay-per-view event. It was a chance for WWE to do some final storyline continuation heading into the PPV. What they did during the show was they set up two matches for Fastlane. The Goldust vs. Stardust match was announced during the Smackdown broadcast with the two brothers filmed in different locations. The Ziggler, Ryback & Rowan match against Rollins, Big Show & Kane was also announced after the show was over. Other than that, nothing major happened. A lot of fans read spoilers of Smackdown and then decide if they should watch it. If fans read spoilers they are still going to watch a show if they see that there's a chance for a great match. If they see that nothing major happened then they're going to avoid it because they know it's a waste of time. This was probably a show that people avoided. Somebody in WWE has to realize that they can do more to make Smackdown more important. It needs to be better. There were nine matches on this week's show, which is definitely on the high end. Here are the results: Daniel Bryan d. The Miz, Ryback d. Kane, R-Truth d. Bad News Barrett, The Ascension d. Big E & Xavier Woods, Roman Reigns d. Luke Harper, Big Show d. Erick Rowan, Paige d. Cameron, Jimmy Uso vs. Tyson Kidd ended in a no contest due to Rusev and Seth Rollins d. Dolph Ziggler. Here are four ups and four downs from this week€™s Smackdown.
