4. The #AxelMania Story Is Funny
People might look at this angle thinking it's a waste of time or will serve no purpose in the long run, but look at Damien Sandow. He was doing parody bits for months, then they stuck him with The Miz and he struck gold after that. Now he's ready to bust out as a comedic babyface. It's nice to see Axel given something to do after sitting around for so long with nothing going on. Perhaps it won't lead to anything significant for him and he'll just be some heel jobber the rest of his career, but at least they are trying something. What would be best for him is a heel tag team. He's solid in the ring. Just find the right partner. The #AxelMania hashtag was apparently trending during Smackdown, so that's a good thing too. It's something that Axel should keep doing. Yes, he's likely going to do it before losing matches, but it's something people can laugh at and enjoy. Silly stuff is okay once in a while and it could end up being a positive thing for him in the future.
