5 Best Moments On WWE Crown Jewel 2021 (And 5 Worst)

1. Worst - The Propagators Of Propaganda

Riyadh Saudi Arabia

There was no escaping it, and that's exactly how WWE planned it.

From the opening video package featuring Saudi Arabia by night as the celebration capital of the world through to the various mentions of the Riyadh Season by Michael Cole as he complimented the company's hosts as if the events of October 2018 had never happened.

Mirroring the Greatest Royal Rumble event in tone, this was very much a call back to the original terms of the agreement - WWE existed not to put on a major wrestling show but to tap the watching world on the shoulder and look towards their giant canvas instead of stopping to research exactly how and why the event was taking place.

A divide will form between those that do their homework, those that don't, and those that don't even care, and it's one that'll surely exist until the end of the deal. But the Kingdom won't worry about that if Vince McMahon continues caring more about his Saudi Supershows than his domestic product.
