Mercedes Moné didn't just start calling herself "Ultimo Moné" out of nowhere this year—she earned the nickname by going on one of the biggest "belt collector" gimmicks that has ever happened in pro wrestling.

Coming into 2025, she was already on her eighth month for her AEW TBS Championship reign, which she still holds onto today. Throughout this run, she's surpassed Jade Cargill's prior record of 508 days to cement herself as the best with that belt so far.

In January, Moné won the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship and the Queen of the Southside Championship titles, which was only the start of getting more and more gold.

In May, she won the 2025 Owen Hart Cup Tournament to earn one of her multiple shots at the AEW Women's World Championship—one belt she's been unable to capture.

But in the meantime, she managed to win the EWA Women's Championship and CMLL World Women's Championship in June, followed by the Bestya Women's Championship and Prime Time Wrestling Women's Championship in July, and the Discovery Wrestling Women's Championship in August.

She then also won the BODYSLAM Women's Championship, the interim ROH Women's World TV Championship (later the lineal title as well, which she's since lost), the WPW Women's Championship and the APAC Women's Championship
