Every year, Dominik Mysterio gets better, and he reached a point in 2025 where he crossed the threshold separating "having a lot of potential" to "being one of the guys" in many ways.

While there may not be a true "leader" among The Judgment Day, Dirty Dom became the de facto focal point of the group and asserted his commandeering of that spot even more when he won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41.

That in and of itself is huge, given the prestige of that title and the show to win it on, especially taking it from someone as prominently featured in 2025 as Bron Breakker.

Mysterio suffered a setback when Liv Morgan was injured, but the group rolled on, finding new allies in El Grande Americano and strengthening the bond of newcomer Roxanne Perez.

In September at Worlds Collide, Mysterio won the AAA Mega Championship from El Hijo del Vikingo to become a double champion.

Though he lost the Intercontinental Championship to John Cena, Mysterio won it back a few weeks later at Survivor Series in his hometown. A win over Cena, in his penultimate match, to become a two-time champion while getting his girl, Liv Morgan, back? What a way to end a great year!
