1. Losers: The Tag Team Division

Sheamus and Cesaro are the only unit doing anything constructive in Raw’s tag team division at the moment. Their “odd couple” act started on a sour note, but they’re starting to show progress as a team, and their increased cohesion may lead to a Tag Team Title reign in the near future. They’re on the up, but the rest of the division? Not so much.

The New Day are always good fun, but they’ve been in a holding pattern for months, and their careers have become a long slog towards breaking Demolition’s record. They’ll be the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in history if they hold the belts for another 50 days, and they’re unlikely to do anything meaningful along the way.

Enzo Amore & Big Cass are one of the company’s most popular acts, but they’re stuck in the midcard. Gallows and Anderson? A complete disaster. Last night’s Golden Truth vs. Shining Stars match didn’t exactly get the pulses racing either…

What Raw has is an incredibly top-heavy division tied together by sloppy writing. The New Day are strong enough performers to supercede most of this, but the rest of the teams? Not so much. Tag team wrestling in WWE is in a marginally better spot than it was a few years ago, but Raw’s writers are doing very little to build momentum for anyone outside the title scene, and last night was a mess.

And now for the winners...
