5 HUGE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

1. WarGames (Women)

Team Ciampa Undisputed ERa
WWE

When William Regal set this match up, the NXT Women's Division was perhaps the best thing happening in all of WWE - perhaps even the industry at large.

Knocking AEW's female league into a cocked hat on Wednesday Nights, it was leaving the main roster in the shade too thanks to the ultra-competitive quality of the individual matches and the unspoken tier that existed for the competitors en route to a shot at dominant Champion Shayna Baszler.

Deep into her second run as Women's division doyen, Shayna will pass 400 days with the gold if she can make it to the end of November, but WarGames affords her next challenger Rhea Ripley to at least score some kind of win over 'The Queen Of Spades' even if she doesn't pin the Champion herself.

The multiple elements of the unknown are where the magic moments within this potential festival of violence hide. Candice LeRae has bled before on the independent scene and won't be afraid to face the same consequences here. Bianca Belair was at one point the league's breakout star - she needs a performance worthy of that tag in a crowded field. Tegan Nox is entering one of the most dangerous matches in wrestling on two repaired knees. Io Shirai is possibly the best wrestler in the entire world.

In the words of Paul Heyman himself, this isn't a prediction, it's a spoiler - this will be wild.

Winner - Team Ripley
