5 HUGE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Matt Riddle Vs Finn Bálor

WWE

Potentially the best match of the whole weekend, let alone Saturday Night's card, Matt Riddle Vs Finn Bálor wasn't the match most initially hoped for for TakeOver: WarGames - but then Finn Bálor being on this card wasn't even a possibility just two months ago.

The Wednesday Night War has transformed molehills into mountains over the past few weeks, and though an injured Johnny Gargano stands as the first accidental hgih profile casualty, the Riddle replacement highlighted how well stacked NXT was to cope with the sudden change. Unfortunately for 'The Original Bro', the longest-reigning NXT Champion simply needs this more.

Returning to the brand because he loathes what it has become, newly-turned heel Finn has a brand new direction and it has to fairly rapidly lead towards an updated version of the title he held so proudly once upon a time.

That journey starts here, and looks set to with a bang.

Winner - Finn Bálor
