5 Reasons Daniel Bryan Should Face Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 31
3. Daniel Bryan Needs The Win More Than Reigns
The end game is that Brock Lesnar is putting over someone big at Wrestlemania 31. He's beaten The Streak, conquered John Cena, won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and appears to be dominating until next March. Whoever beats him is getting an ocean of momentum to withhold. Roman Reigns being the one to defeat the one who was the one in twenty one and one is a career maker. He'd always have that to his resume. It would be an epic accomplishment in the world of wrestling. The problem is that right now, Reigns doesn't need the win as bad as Bryan. Daniel Bryan has been out for almost an entire year. He's lost a year of his prime. He lost his once in a lifetime title reign due to injury. Remember his personal life had a few losses at that time as well. He has lost and lost and lost. Isn't it time for Daniel Bryan to win? Roman Reigns is injured too, but he'll be back in three months. Reigns was also increasing his work rate with Randy Orton and Seth Rollins when he got hurt. Daniel Bryan was the top guy in the industry and the champion. Reigns' momentum didn't take as serious a hit with his injury. He won't be out for nearly as long. Reigns doesn't have to rebuild from scratch. Daniel Bryan does have to rebuild. He's got the admiration, trust and sympathy of the fans. He also has the experience, ability and knowledge to do more with the momentum of beating Lesnar than Reigns could at this moment. The win over Lesnar would cement Bryan as more than a flash in the pan in 2013. The win would solidify Bryan as "the best in the business". Reigns would use it as a giant stepping stone. Bryan would use it to rebuild himself to be bigger than he ever was before. Bryan needs the win more because he doesn't have time like Reigns does.
