3. Want: Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler Kill Everyone
There were no smiles for Ronda Rousey this time around as she stomped to the ring, ready to do business, the St Louis crowd losing their collective mind. Instead of Thrilled To Be Here Babyface Ronda, this was Trained Killer Ronda, intent on wreaking havoc.
Indeed the only time she let the mask slip was when she found herself in front of fellow shoot fighter and IRL pal Shayna Baszler. The two exchanged a quick nod, then set to work, for a short while acting in tandem as they hurled their colleagues around the ring.
More of this, please! Baszler has been bizarrely adrift in WWE since losing her title shot (and momentum) against Becky Lynch in 2020. In NXT she was a figure of terror; in WWE she’s frightened of a doll.
Ronda is clearly here to throw down with Becky Lynch once more, but if her contract is, as rumoured, for a year of full-time work, she could finally give Baszler that push over the edge that she needs, and the two of them could have a highly enjoyable 12 months of being very violent indeed.
