5 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (July 22)

1. Way Better Than Expected

The Gunn Club Acclaimed Rap Battle
AEW

Hands up who else thought they'd hate every second of that rap battle between The Gunn Club and The Acclaimed? Seriously, it was easy to go into this thinking you'd become JR and roll those eyes at such goofy bullsh*t, but it was actually kinda fun.

Lil' Scrappy was a fine-enough host for the party, and Austin Gunn showed bags of personality during the early exchanges. Then, like any good heel should, Austin started getting lost for words and Max Caster blasted him with some cutting lines.

Post-rap, The Gunns made it physical by attacking The Acclaimed and their entourage before standing tall. What a tidy little piece of business this was, and it's one that furthered the simmering feud between both sides. That's gonna be some match when they finally go at it.

Stick it in the headline spot on Rampage, Tony!
