5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE WrestleMania Raw (March 28)

2. Battle For Tag Team Supremacy

When your hard sell for the main event of “WrestleMania Raw” is a tag match that’s a rematch from Survivor Series – you know, the one time of the year that Raw and SmackDown go head-to-head – that ends in a DQ, you’re swimming uphill.

RK-Bro and the Usos battled in a pretty decent tag match that carried no real stakes, and sure enough, nothing that happened for 15 minutes mattered because the Street Profits, who apparently have turned heel in the past week-plus, jumped the Raw tag champs for a DQ. Then Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs, who were ringside, jumped in and gave us an eight-man brawl.

Things thinned out and Randy Orton & Riddle hit repeated RKOs on the Profits, laying them out twice to really kill them dead before WrestleMania. No sign of Alpha Academy either, which was weird.

Either way, this was a lame closing to Raw. The end.
