1. KO Leans Into Austin

When all is said and done, you’re going to have to give Kevin Owens an award of some kind for his work during this rivalry with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

KO has run an almost-entirely one-sided feud, delivering promo after promo while we’ve only gotten one pre-recorded video from Stone Cold accepting Owen’s invitation to be on the KO Show, and a video package of Austin’s career that aired Monday.

Owens did another masterful job Monday, calling his mock impersonation last week “a tribute” to Austin, adding that his dress-up was the closest anyone’s going to get to the Stone Cold everyone admired, because we’re getting “Steve” at WrestleMania. Steve has been drinking himself silly and is so bored at home he begs wrestlers to come on his podcast to relive the glory days.

At least, that’s what KO told us. Oh, and Austin is going to pass the torch to Owens and bequeath the Stunner to him.

Just great stuff. Here’s hoping the actual segment/match over-delivers on Saturday.
