5 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Oct 17)

4. Pulp Fashion

The Fashion Files made their triumphant return to SmackDown last night, and while 'Pulp Fashion' wasn't a vintage offering from Tyler Breeze and Fandango, it was still one of the strongest things on the show.

The scene was full of Tarantino-inspired paraphernalia, Breezango dropped the Pulp Fiction "royale with cheese" joke, and Tyler was dressed like Uma Thurman (because cross-dressing is what he does now, apparently). They came close to aping the film's needle to the heart/overdose scene when Breeze collapsed after eating said cheeseburger, but he came back to life, stressing his fondness for gluten - an opinion that apparently puts Breezango's friendship with The Ascension at risk.

Konnor and Viktor were tremendous in their supporting roles, showing that despite their many flaws, both have been grossly misused since arriving on the main roster. They rightly pointed out that the "2B" behind the Fashion Police's recent troubles was almost certainly the Bludgeon Brothers, but the cops wouldn't listen, and the saga rumbles on. Here's hoping for more of the same over the coming weeks.
