5 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Apr 19)

4. Homecoming Disadvantage

Throughout the entire Rich Swann and Sami Callihan saga, it's always been the latter who's had the numbers advantage. Sami's had Dave and Jake Crist by his side the entire time, and now also has the imposing Madman Fulton. While Swann has received help when he needs it from both Willie Mack and Tommy Dreamer, that may not be the case during their Homecoming match.

Fulton defeated Dreamer in singles action this week and then after the match had concluded, The Innovator of Violence had his arm destroyed at the hands of a steel chair. Meanwhile, Mack appears to have suffered some sort of head injury. He came across as not being completely there following the attack, which we saw while he spoke to Killer Kross in the backstage area. It may just be mind games from Kross, but you can never rule out an injury as being the reason.

This leaves Rich Swann on his own, four on one against oVe. That's never a good position for anyone to be in, and there's a good chance his time as our X Division Champion could be coming to a close. Unless he has other friends that we just don't know about...
