5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (4 Oct - Results & Review)

2. This Didn’t Help Either!

Yeah, see?

Even Kevin Owens and Randy Orton were posted missing from SmackDown. That bruised the lineup just a little too much, especially when R-KO has been a heavy presence in Cody's story and will probs be expected to work with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa soon. Wouldn't they fancy watching the main event ladder match up close?!

Look, some will read this and think it's a disgruntled fan reaching for 'Downs'. It's understandable if things come across that way, but it's more fan disappointment than anything else. It sucks to tune into SmackDown and realise that Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton (all top stars) aren't even in the building.

WWE had a PLE to promote here, so you'd think at least one of those dudes would show up to feed into Bad Blood shenanigans or drop a hint at what's coming after Saturday's show. Nope. Suppose the silver lining is that other names got to shine, but the star power chasm was too vast.
