5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (15 Oct - Results & Review)

4. Good Match, Bad Finish

WWE Raw Iyo Sky Jade Cargill
WWE

Fans had high expectations for the Damage CTRL/Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair match on Monday night. Three of the four women are class in the ring, and the fourth has moments where she shines.

Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky had solid performances individually and as a team during the Women’s Tag Team Championship match, keeping Cargill off-balance and controlling large portions of the bout. Iyo boosting Kairi up for an assisted Insane Elbow was a hella-good spot. Jade looked pretty good overall here as well, and the miscommunication spots flowed well rather than being played up for drama.

The downside of the match came when Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson got involved at ringside, blindsiding Sky, which directly contributed to her falling victim to a KOD and losing. Why WWE is continuing to involve Lash and Jakara, who frankly aren’t ready for the big stage, is a head-scratcher. The interference came off lame, with Iyo stumbling like a drunk sailor off a single forearm.

We can let it play out, but this just didn’t vibe well at the end.
