1. Rock Isn’t The Only One Who Can Swear

Carny succubus. Roman’s side chick. LDS – Little D**k Syndrome. Whiny bitch. A**hole.

Those aren’t just a random assortment of insults collected during the course of several weeks. Those were all crammed into one hellacious promo from Cody Rhodes Monday night, as the American Nightmare decimated The Rock without cracking jokes, singing songs, or insulting mothers.

Rhodes shredded Rock by turning his own words back against him, noting that the Great One referred to himself as a heel and saying he just thinks he’s an a**hole. He said Rock was a terrible salesman, a carny succubus. He questioned whether Rock would bring “Big Dwayne Energy” to WrestleMania XL, or if it would just be LDS. And he turned Rock’s “Final Boss” nickname (complimenting writer Brian Gewirtz for it) into “Roman’s side chick.”

Rock has made a career of giving nicknames to his opponents that fans can chant at them, so it was perfect and poetic that Cody dropped a couple of his own on the Brahma Bull on Raw. It won’t be shocking if we hear “LDS” or “Roman’s side chick” shouted at Rocky next time he’s on WWE programming.

It can’t be understated how hard it is to follow The Rock given how dialed in he is these days, so for Cody to nail this so perfectly speaks volumes to how on-point he is himself.
