5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 26 - Results & Review)

4. Bayley Gets A Fresh Monster To Slay

Rather predictably, X has already decided that Nia Jax jumping to SmackDown and getting involved in the title picture opposite Bayley is the worst thing in pro wrestling history. Nah, not for this guy. If anything, Jax challenging the champion is way more fun than Naomi and Bayley being all buddy buddy during friendly bouts.

Nia might not be Bryan Danielson between the ropes, but her physically imposing style does have merit, and she's been largely fine since returning. Jax will be a nice 'B' level speed bump challenger for Bayley whilst creative builds Tiffany Stratton a little more and readies her to eventually supplant the babyface champ.

Tiff is the future - Jax is a temporary distraction.

Stratton and Naomi will work a three-way vs. Bayley at Backlash in France (unless Nia is added to that equation too, which could happen). After that, WWE can go all in on Jax vs. Bayley one-on-one, and have Stratton muscle her way past Naomi in singles on the side. Win-win.
