5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 5 - Results & Review)

1. Going Home With Something Strong

No, the headliner between Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa isn't one for the family album, but it did give Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins an excuse to stop by SmackDown one last time before 'Mania. They saved Jey from Bloodline's background troops, then cut a nice promo on Roman Reigns and The Rock.

Job done.

Jey actually came into his own once the match was over and done with. He seemed to hesitate on joining in on the beatdown at first, but then realised what was going on and smacked his brothers around some more. Meanwhile, Rhodes took centre stage with a weight belt, and put a bow on the WrestleMania hype.

There was something decidedly house show-y about the whole thing, but that's not a complaint. WWE didn't need to go overboard on its final TV before 'Mania, and fans are always gonna be thrilled to see guys like Seth and Cody do their thing.

Strong finish.
