5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 (Results & Review)
3. A Hot Finish Saves The Day
If not for the final 10-15 minutes of the women’s WarGames match, that battle would have been an utter failure.
Much of the first two-thirds of the match was a series of unconvincing spots and filler until both Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan entered the cage, as if everyone was saving up for when the Match Beyond finally began.
From there, the women ramped things up, with Iyo Sky (with a trash can over her head once again) and Tiffany Stratton executing stereo dives from the top of the cage into their respective rings. Liv wielded a baseball bat to take out everyone. Ripley dominated a large segment of the match, bodying everyone. Stratton teased a Money in the Bank cash-in before Raquel Rodriguez confronted her to protect Morgan.
Ultimately, Rhea got a measure of revenge by hitting an avalanche Riptide through a table on Liv for the victory, giving fans what they wanted and possibly setting the two up for what will hopefully be the final chapter between them.
