5 Ups & 6 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jul 5)

Ups...

5. A Fine Match

The match between Rohit Raju and Laredo Kid was fine for what it was, a nice little singles clash between two X division athletes. Although it won't be receiving any rave reviews, it provided a breather between two Slammiversary-related segments.

In terms of the action that we saw, Raju used his slight power advantage to wear down Kid, while Kid used his speed to ensure Rohit was kept alert at all times, which actually resulted in one of the bottom turnbuckles snapping when he tried to jump off of it. Towards the end of the bout, both Gama and Raj Singh would attempt to get involved, allowing their DHS brethren to score the victory with a diving double foot stomp to Laredo Kid's back.

As you can tell, The Desi Hit Squad are actually superb wrestlers. The skits they've been featured in alongside The Deaners, however, are subpar. There's no need for all of this nonsense: let their actions in the ring do all the talking.
