5 Ups & 6 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jun 7)

2. From Glenn To Sami

For some strange reason, Sami Callihan is now on a rampage against the Knockouts division. Didn’t we see the end of this when Glenn Gilbertti was sent packing at the hands of Tessa Blanchard? Well, clearly not. The Draw is seemingly disgruntled at Scarlett Bordeaux for sticking her nose into an issue that didn’t involve her, even though it was Callihan that got her involved in the first place.

She and Fallah Bahh lost to Dave and Jake Crist in a match that was just there to fill time. Not only that, as Tessa Blanchard emerged from backstage following the match to fend off the Crist brothers before they could inflict any more pain on The Smokeshow. According to Impact’s booking team, you can’t be a man and go after the Knockouts division without Tessa Blanchard coming along.

We’ve already had enough of this with the whole Glenn Gilbertti story. It’s only just come to an end – can’t we get a break from that sort of story for a bit of time (ideally forever)? Let’s see how long this one lasts before it finished. Until then, the point still remains though – what’s Sami Callihan’s problem with the Knockouts division?
