5 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Feb 1)

1. An A-List Debut

For everything that was silly about Bad Bunny taking out Miz and John Morrison on Sunday night, they made up for it on Raw by having the rapper team up with fellow Puerto Rican Damian Priest, who was debuting on the red brand on Monday night.

Bunny came out as part of Miz TV and refused to apologize for antagonizing and attacking the A-listers after Miz destroyed his DJ station. He also refused to help them record an album, which probably was a good call. This gave way to Priest’s official debut on the Raw roster, with the Archer of Infamy stalking to the ring and simply punching out Miz – always more effective than cutting a boring promo.

Priest went on to topple Miz in his first match, with a little help from Bad Bunny, who grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase from Miz before he could use it mid-match, and then clocked Morison with his microphone.

As debuts go, this was pretty good, with Priest getting a win over an established superstar and partnering with a platinum recording artist. You can’t ask for much more to start things off.
