Tournament favorite Toni Storm made quite an impression in last year’s Mae Young Classic, and it was readily apparent that she was a fan favorite right away Wednesday night.

Storm battled NXT UK rival Jinny in a pretty good little match that featured some trash-talking from Jinny and some good back-and-forth action. Jinny controlled a good portion of the match, but Storm nailed a snap-German suplex before finishing her opponent off with a Storm Zero.

After the second episode, which didn’t feature a lot of good in-ring action, it was good to see the quality improve Wednesday night.
