After Survivor Series, The Wyatt Family needed something to help them regain some lustre in the eyes of the core fan base. There should be no issue with them losing to The Undertaker and Kane on the big Pay-Per-View, but Bray Wyatt and clan do deserve to be taken seriously. A program against The Dudley Boyz was a bit one-sided, before Bubba Ray and D-Von brought in Tommy Dreamer to help. There's a chance that other former ECW alumni will become involved over the next few weeks, possibly leading to a match at the TLC PPV. If that doesn't happen, and the feud doesn't make it to Pay-Per-View, at least The Wyatts are being booked to be dominant. That was the way things played out on Smackdown, the end scene of the segment being Bray and his men standing proud over their opponents. Bray Wyatt faced D-Von Dudley in a short singles match. It felt genuinely unique to see one of The Dudley Boyz in a one-on-one affair, which somehow made the situation more interesting. The Wyatts put Dreamer through a table and battered The Dudleyz into the bargain. This opens up the possibility for the ECW team to enlist more help.
