1. It's Legitimately Cool To See Brock Lesnar On Smackdown
Both Brock Lesnar and Triple H made fleeting appearances at the tail-end of Smackdown this week. It's fair to say that the show has been missing that kind of star power. While it's unlikely that someone like Brock will appear on a regular basis, him showing up here did add some credibility to the show. It was also a smart move to have him dominate his opponents for Fastlane on Sunday. Interrupting Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs. The Dudley Boyz, Lesnar hammered Ambrose on the outside of the ring before turning his attention to Reigns. Even better, the creative team incorporated more dysfunction between Roman and Dean, with the former accidentally nailing the latter when going for a spear on Brock. The lasting image from the show was Lesnar standing tall. It was admittedly quite odd to see Triple H looking so chuffed as the show went off the air. Surely, he should have been selling the idea that Lesnar was a huge threat, but maybe creative just wanted to put over the fact that Reigns and Ambrose are at loggerheads. In any case, seeing Brock Lesnar on Smackdown after such a lengthy absence was pretty damn nifty. What other 'ups' and 'downs' can you think of from this week's WWE Smackdown?
