If Dana Brooke vs. Billie Kay failed to hit the mark, The Wyatt Family's demolition of 'Local Talent' did the trick. As aforementioned, squash matches can work well if they're used on the right performers. Undoubtedly, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman are the kind who directly benefit from running roughshod over jobbers.

This was simple build towards a WWE Tag-Team Title shot at The New Day come Battleground, and it was logical. Strowman and Rowan may never win any prizes for technical excellence, but that's not why they're on the roster. They're both big, rugged monsters, and therefore it's smart to book them accordingly.

In a cool moment, Braun actually pinned both opponents, laying one on top of the other and giving a menacing look to the hard camera. It wasn't a long match, obviously, but for what it was it worked. There should be more of this for The Wyatts going forward, it suits their characters.
