If WWE provide fans with more fare like Rusev vs. Cesaro on SmackDown, the WWE United States Title scene will be healthy. There's no denying that Titus O'Neil has been a transitional challenger for the belt lately, a fact verified by just how into Cesaro the live crowd were.

Following his hard-fought win over a trio of other contenders, Cesaro was ambushed by the Bulgarian. That left him at a disadvantage in the immediate aftermath, but he had to muster up enough strength to challenge for the United States gold. The booking on display was simply superb.

Injured and fighting against the odds, Cesaro sold brilliantly. Only adding to the exciting scenario himself, Rusev looked dominant. This is what a title match should be like on television, both left looking more over than they had been coming in and there's the threat of more.

Please WWE, give us a rematch at Battleground. Cesaro is great value in the main contender spot.
