Ups...

On the surface, it may seem a little hypocritical to portray the segment featuring Big Cass as a 'down', only to reverse it. However, it felt absolutely fine to have Cass appearing on his own. Nobody can have any complaints with him getting some TV time in Enzo's absence, it'll only help Cass in the long run.

Amore and Cass won't be together forever. At the very least, it's difficult to imagine it, because things move so quickly in WWE nowadays. Inevitably, Cass will get a singles run, so this acted as great experience for him. In a pleasing moment, fans on SmackDown reacted favourably to him even without Enzo.

The content of the segment after his promo wasn't great, as explained. That doesn't mean it's not a positive (or 'up') that Big Cass was on the show. Ideally, WWE could even stick the big man in singles matches, just to see what he has away from tag-team situations.
