Just before Ever-Rise were no doubt about to get pulverised by another NXT duo, a team not seen on NXT television for most of the year - due to the ongoing global pandemic - popped back up on our screens and beat the p*ss out of the worst team in the division.

The Grizzled Young Veterans, Zack Gibson and James Drake, didn't waste time reminding us what they were all about and what they desired. The former NXT UK Tag Team Champions declared that they would SOOOOOOOON be recognised as NXT's number #1.

Coming out of War Games, seeing this pair square off against Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch for the NXT Tag Team belts is the sort of violent showcase this division has been short of in recent times.
