5 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE RAW (Best Of 2022)

2. Cody Reveals All (Sort Of)

Perhaps the biggest story of the first five months of 2022 was Cody Rhodes’ departure from AEW and return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. It was a seismic shift, and Rhodes’ presentation was near-perfect.

His torn pectoral derailed the rest of the year and WWE comeback tour, but Cody gave an interview Monday night where he said that he wants his 2023 to pick right up where this year left off in June. He started to tip his hand a bit before noting he was being “intentionally vague” but added that he came back to WWE for one thing – which he previously said was the WWE Championship his father never won.

If Rhodes indeed is going to return in the near future, this was a nice was to remind fans of what he brought to the table in 2022 without outright spoiling a potential surprise.
