5 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE RAW (Best Of 2022)

1. How Do You Not Love The EST?

That’s mostly a rhetorical question, but it’s still a serious one.

Bianca Belair deservedly got an entire segment as a highlight of 2022, as she was the focal point of the Raw women’s division, carrying it for eight months after wrestling the title from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. A video package traced her life and challenges she faced before WWE provided an outlet for her to become the confident person she is now.

Afterward, Belair did an interview segment where she seemed relaxed, humble and confident, a great combination for a babyface champion. In fact, she sounded so much more natural here than when she delivers her pre-packaged, rehearsed lines on Raw. Perhaps WWE should try scripting her less and seeing how it goes.

All in all, Bianca is one of WWE’s true success stories, so it was great to see them give her a spotlight for 2022.
