5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 19)

1. Arrest That Man!

Roman Reigns Brock Lesnar
WWE

Look, you can give WWE a mulligan for having a “U.S. Marshal” handcuff Roman Reigns with his arms in front of his body, so he can properly take a beatdown from Brock Lesnar later, but you can’t ignore the disappearing law enforcement.

Roman was suspended last week, but showed up Monday night anyway, refusing to leave until Brock came down to the ring. Three U.S. Marshals came down to arrest him for trespassing and cuffed Reigns. Then they put their hands on him, and Roman beat them all down. While cuffed.

Then Brock came out and attacked. (More on this later.) However, at no point did the three marshals resurface, and no mention was made that Roman would have to face charges for trespassing (his original offense) and for assaulting three “law enforcement officers.”

When “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was handcuffed by cops after stunning Vince McMahon, he was hauled off to jail. While Reigns was taken to a hospital for his beating, the marshals and their arrest should have been followed through on, rather than largely ignored.
